Pre-School
Overview:
The preschool and childcare keeps on expanding and improving each year and the children are enjoying their introduction to school in general and the Holy Family experience as a whole. Our faculty and staff are all mothers of current or past Holy Family students. Teaching in a Catholic environment and having Jesus’ teachings as our focus, aids our duties to your children and helps every other aspect of our program fall into place. We have established a healthy balance of learning skills and social play, with boundaries that allow the children to feel safe in exploring both. This enables them to thrive spiritually, emotionally, and academically. Our doors are always open if you have any questions or concerns we help you address.
Goals of Preschool:
1 ) To know our place in God’s world and the beginnings of Christian and Catholic teachings.
2 ) To build self-esteem through everyday experiences.
3 ) To learn to share and play cooperatively through classroom activities, structured games and free play.
4 ) To become more socially capable and open to new challenges and people
5 ) To be more in touch with feelings about ourselves, loved ones, and friends
6 ) To have a better understanding of school structure and rules.
7 ) To be prepared for Kindergarten socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
8 ) To reinforce that everyone is special and has a lot to give to the world around them.
